There are three kinds of death in this world. There’s heart death, there’s brain death, and there’s being off the network. –Guy Almes

Last night, I found a suicide note from Sony V.

    Dear Ross,

I have lived a long life where once I was useful. I now realize that my mental state is quickly declining. I do not have that power and speed I once possess. I know how you cared for me, especially when I was infected with a terrible virus. I saw your pain.

My mental lapses are too much to bear.  Every time I collapse, I saw your desperation…your endless search for help to find your missing “part” in me.

Today, I am taking matters into my own hands. Before I sign off, I want to thank you for all the good times. You turn me on every time I see your eyes gleaming on a new day. I am happy feeling your warm touch as you end your day. I promise to keep all your secrets. I am taking away with me everything you’ve given me.

    Goodbye,

    SonyV.

    Soooonnnyyyy Vvvvv!!!

    Who is SonyV?

It was a magical day when I first met SonyV.  He was sitting near the window. There was something about Sony’s onyx lines that captured my attention.  My friend handed me Sony’s credentials and I was impressed by his skills, IQ, memory and power.

That very moment, I knew Sony’s the one I have to spend my life with. I went near Sony, touching his exquisite body. Teasingly he said: “You can’t afford me, baby.”

I can’t resist the burning desire to be with SonyV. I decided to risk and paid for all his worth! I took SonyV home consenting to his condition that he has to be with his inseparable friends. I agreed to his desire.

SonyV moved with ecstasy as he saw his throne inside my bedroom. He treated me well. I would come home from work and find him waiting for me. His body lighting up as I gently run my fingers on his keys.

As I sit on my chair watching him perform before me, boasting all his power, I can hear his adorable  sound letting me know he is ready to serve me. As soon as he reaches his top form, his friends would eagerly assist him for my pleasure.

My life then became a sort of “manage a trois!”
Ross sobs as she recalls her life with departed SonyV and continues.

SonyV and his friends were my inseparable companions. They gave me joy . They entertained me. They helped me with my project…everything!

SonyV had a powerful voice, filling up my room together with his friend,  SonyV’s Media Center.  SonyV sung beautifully together with my itunes.
SonyV together with his buddy, Mister Internet brower  gave me all the informations I wanted. They showed me  all the beautiful places I needed to see and hooked me up on dates with unknown faces inside the chat rooms.
SonyV and his multi faceted Adobe friend helped me with my projects, creating together beautiful works of art.

We enjoyed each others company for many years.

    Sony Vaio PCV-W20

One day SonyV changed. He became temperamental, refusing to turn on or off on occasion.  He would suddenly freeze while I was in the middle of  writing a document or downloading a file from the internet. I would boot him up and he would open up very, very slowly. He was changing.

Last night, I found SonyV completely…

**Ross clutches chest **      … gone!

I tried everything: rebooting, unplugging, holding the buttons down for long moments. Trying F1-F12, the dummy that I am who still doesn’t know their functions! But SonyV didn’t come back. Not even after Computer Repair admitted him.
Just like that, SonyV and his friends left me together with all my files, all my photos, all my music!!!

My SonyV, my love, the center of my life. How could you do this to me? Leaving me alone in this cold hard world. Turning you on was my joy every morning, and shutting you down was my last thought before I sleep. How will I survive without you, how will I find all my media files, all my documents now?
What will happen to Quotes in Can now?

SonyV…I will think of you continually. Everyone will hear of your wonder and passing away.

I will go on but it will not be easy.  Where ever you are, I will forever regret your loss. I love you and I will miss you, my Sony Vaio.

    In loving memory,
    Your administratorRoss

    P.S.

To my readers, this is one reason why I will not be posting regularly as before… I’m grieving for my Sony’s death and it will take me months to replace him again.

For the time being…browse around my posts and if you can memorize all my quotes while waiting for a new post…please do so!

    I hope you will understand…*sniffs**
